OBJECTIVE: to demonstrate a small fenestra stapedotomy technique modified from laser stapedotomy technique

MAIN MESSAGE: Small fenestra stapedotomies are well established and proven to give better hearing result and fewer complications compared to the total removal of
the stapes footplate. This technique can be further modified to reduce the possibilities of complications such as floating foot plate and incus dislocation. We demonstrate a flexible technique modified according to the footplate exposure and accessibility. This technique is safe and effective with minimal vestibular upset.
